Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe is seeking an experienced, energetic, and passionateBreakfast Cookto join our culinary team atLicense to Chill. This position is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality breakfast dishes while maintaining consistency, speed of service, cleanliness, and food safety standards in a high-volume resort environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong breakfast background, exceptional egg cookery skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Compensation- $18-$20 an Hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Culinary Production

  • Prepare breakfast menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
  • Execute egg cookery including:
    • Sunny Side Up
    • Over Easy
    • Over Medium
    • Over Hard
    • Basted
    • Poached
    • Soft Boiled
    • Hard Boiled
    • Scrambled
    • Omelets
    • Egg White Omelets
    • Frittatas
  • Prepare pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes and breakfast sandwiches.
  • Cook breakfast meats including bacon, sausage, ham, steaks turkey sausage and specialty proteins.
  • Prepare breakfast potatoes, grits, oatmeal and hot cereals.
  • Produce fresh breakfast garnishes and fruit presentations.
  • Prepare breakfast sauces, gravies and specialty breakfast accompaniments.
  • Maintain proper holding temperatures throughout service.
  • Ensure every plate leaves the kitchen meeting Margaritaville presentation standards.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Complete all opening kitchen procedures.
  • Review daily production sheets.

  • Maintain clean and organized work stations.
  • Monitor food quality throughout service.
  • Minimize food waste.
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO.
  • Maintain proper food temperatures.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries when needed.
  • Complete all closing responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum2 years of recent breakfast cooking experiencein a full-service restaurant, hotel, resort, country club, or high-volume breakfast operation.

  • Experience preparing high-volume breakfast service.
  • Ability to work multiple stations.
