In a constant effort to offer our guests the best possible experience, we provide a complimentary breakfast service prepared and maintained by the Breakfast Ambassador. Our Breakfast Cafe' features hot and cold items available for a limited, preset amount of time each morning, and is an important part of the overall guest experience. It is, therefore, the hostess's job to ensure each guest's day starts the right way.
we are one of the largest and most respected hotel brands, is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Breakfast Ambassador for our morning breakfast café. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to provide an outstanding breakfast experience for our guests through proper food preparation, appealing food presentation, and sociable engagement with our guests. 
The Breakfast Ambassador is often the person that creates a lasting impression on our guests. Therefore it is essential that he/she can provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for our guests every day.  
We have an opening for a part-time Breakfast Ambassador two mornings a week. Additional hours are available in other job positions throughout the hotel if full-time hours are preferred.
Main Duties Include:
  • Setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast buffet, ensuring buffet items such as hot foods, fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items remain well-stocked while maintaining the safety and appearance of the buffet area and cleaning the area in preparation for the next day.
  • This may include replenishing disposable utensils,  plates, napkins, condiment bowls, etc.
  • Light to moderate food preparation, refilling beverage containers, mopping, wiping, and sweeping. stocking, prepping,  general cleaning, and weekly shopping at area retailers for locally purchased items.
Qualifications:
  • Friendly and confidently greet breakfast guests with a smile.
  • Ability to come off as knowledgeable and polite at all times. Even if flustered, a hostess should never show it.
  • Must be polished and well-mannered.  There is never a second chance to make a first impression.
  • Clearly, understand and hold yourself accountable for the expectations of the Breakfast Ambassador position.
  • Treat the Breakfast Cafe' and the Hotel as if it was your own.
  • Assist in providing a safe, healthy environment for all guests and fellow associates.
  • Assure that your daily actions reflect Comfort Inn's Service Excellence Commitment.
  • Must be very dependable.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Hard-working, excellent time management skills, and customer service skills.
  • Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
