Event Servers


Join our team as an Event Server and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest service during events. Your friendly and efficient service will ensure guests have a memorable experience at Apex Entertainment. Collaborative communication and adaptability are key as you work alongside your team to create a seamless event atmosphere. Your ability to engage with guests, answer questions, and assist with their needs will set the tone for their time at Apex. As an Event Server, you'll contribute to the success of various occasions by delivering food and beverages, attending to guest requests, and maintaining a professional and attentive demeanor.


Responsibilities:


Event Preparation and Service:

  • Participate in pre-event and departmental meetings to enhance communication and understand product offerings and service flow.
  • Set up banquet tables according to event specifications.
  • Assist in arranging buffet or special food service tables and equipment.
  • Deliver and serve food and beverages in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event, exceeding service standards.

Event Support:

  • Collaborate with team members, servers, and culinary staff to provide a seamless event experience.
  • Assist with various tasks including cleaning, stocking, and setup/breakdown of attractions and activities.
  • Pack up gifts and guests' belongings efficiently.
  • Break down and reset event spaces for the next occasion.

Exceptional Guest Interaction:

  • Attend to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests by displaying exceptional interpersonal skills.

Additional Tasks:

  • Assist fellow team members and departments when needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance, and outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, ice machines, and dishwashers.
  • Physical ability to lift trays, dish racks, glass racks (up to 20-40lbs), and perform tasks that involve bending and kneeling.
  • Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, and navigate in narrow spaces.
  • Experience in the food & beverage, hospitality, or events industry is a plus.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume establishment, with TIPS certification.
