    A Finished Product Packer moves finished plastic product safely from end of line into correct packaging and place on skid.  Verify with the work order that the skids are the pallet patterns meet customer specifications.  Communicate with the line operator if the finished goods do not meet work order requirements.  Maintain good housekeeping practices on assigned lines. 

Responsibilities
•    Work safely while adhering to established safety procedures
•    Comply with Quality Management Systems by following established procedures, performing quality checks and ensuring adherence to quality standards
•    Be present during scheduled work hours and attend all required meetings
•    Maintain excellent standards for housekeeping by keeping equipment and surrounding workspace clean and organized
•    Assist Line Operators during job changes and PMs
•    Ability to pull film until production is established
•    Ability to transfer between lines as production requires
•    Coordinate with Material Handler to ensure proper packaging materials are used and available according to customer expectations
•    Package plastic product according to customer specification
•    Ensure correct counts and amounts of product are in packaging
•    Maintain paperwork as required
•    Cut, bale, weigh and record scrap as required by facility
•    Load cores into machine hoppers

•    Communicate with line operators or shift supervisors regarding quality concerns
•    Break relief for other associates assigned to other lines as directed
•    Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
