Job description

Job DescriptionRole Summary

The Warehouse & Delivery Associate supports ListenUp’s warehouse, delivery, and logistics operations. This position is a combination of delivery driving, customer service, and warehouse responsibilities.

A key part of this role is safely delivering merchandise to customers, ListenUp locations, and job sites. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving company vehicles, has a clean driving record, and understands the importance of providing professional, friendly service when interacting with customers during deliveries and product drop-offs.

This person will also assist with warehouse operations including receiving inventory, pulling orders, loading vehicles, stocking merchandise, shipping, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

This is a physical, hands-on position that requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities listed are not all-inclusive and may change based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles to make customer, retail store, and job-site deliveries.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and product drop-offs.
  • Assist with delivery of merchandise into customers' homes or businesses, including safely handling and placing products as directed.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers regarding deliveries, schedules, and any issues encountered.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise.
  • Receive and unload incoming inventory.
  • Stock and consolidate inventory within the warehouse.
  • Take physical inventory counts.
  • Pull orders for delivery and shipping using an inventory management system and verify inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and load outbound delivery orders.
  • Deliver inventory between ListenUp locations.
  • Inspect, test, clean, and rate returns and trade-ins.
  • Box and ship outbound small-parcel orders.
  • Prepare pallets for outbound shipping.
  • Assist customers with warehouse will-call pickups and answer incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and delivery environment.
  • Break down and recycle boxes and other packing materials.
  • Transport pallets, Styrofoam, and other recyclable materials to recycling facilities.
  • Perform other reasonable duties requested by the Warehouse Manager.
Required Skills

Required Experience/Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Delivery, route driving, furniture/appliance delivery, installation support, moving, or other customer-facing delivery experience preferred
Driving Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
  • Must meet company requirements to operate company vehicles
  • Must be 21 years of age or older due to company vehicle and truck-driving requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely move and handle merchandise during loading, unloading, and customer deliveries
  • Standing and walking for extended periods, including up to 8+ hours per day
  • Frequent entering and exiting of delivery vehicles
  • Regular driving as part of assigned job duties
