Job description

Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift, 1st Shift Req ID: 8913
City, State: Westfield, WI, Wisconsin (US-WI)
Classification: Nonexempt
HOURS: 4:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. (Thurs, Fri, Sat, every other Wednesday)
WAGE: $27.00 - $36.79 per hour (based on experience)
JOB DUTIES:
โ€ข Preventive Maintenance
โ€ข Repairs to equipment to ensure production up time
โ€ข Boiler and refrigeration checks
โ€ข Equipment overhauls and updating
โ€ข Prior experience working with, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, plumbing and PLC's.
โ€ข Preventive maintenance experience is a plus. โ€ข Must be able to stand and walk up to 12-hours per day.
โ€ข Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist.
โ€ข Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
โ€ข Ability to function both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
โ€ข Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Potential hazards include high noise levels, slippery floors and temperatures which can vary from cold to warm. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Industrial Mechanics Degree or equivalent and 3 years' experience OR 5 years on the job experience in an Industrial Mechanics position from the food, foundry, or paper industry. Must display strong communication skills. Should be a good problem solver and strong team player. Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs, up to 12 hours per day. Must meet Maintenance Physical Abilities Evaluation requirements. Must successfully complete all required training including lockout tag out. Must have the ability to function in high stress situations.
