Job description

TRC Talent Solutions is looking for Press Brake Operators for our client in Milner, GA

Overview:
As a Press Brake Operator you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machining equipment, such as CNC lasers, press brakes, and saws, to produce precision sheet metal parts. This role requires proficiency in machine operations, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work with tight tolerances.

Shift: 2nd shift 4:30pm-3:00am (M-F)

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned.

  • Read drawings and blueprints.

  • Verify correct material type, thickness, and part quantities.
  • Review shop travelers and part drawings.
  • Perform programming and adjust as needed.

  • Perform operations using standard and custom tooling.

  • Adjust fixture locations per process control instructions and blueprints.

  • Check height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

  • Perform programming using all features of equipment.

  • Work with tight tolerance.

  • Produce parts for assembly operations.

  • Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.

  • Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures.

  • Check machine for defects and repair if necessary.

  • Bending, standing, and lifting are required.

  • Review and plan production jobs efficiently.

  • Ensure optimal performance of the machine.

  • Load and unload material and adjusting job as needed.

  • Maintain equipment according to proper maintenance required.

  • Inspect raw materials and parts for defects.

  • Prepare raw materials and parts for Fabrication.

Qualifications:

  • Previous machining experience required.

  • Ability to read and use measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers, gauges).

  • Strong understanding of machine setup and operations.

  • Ability to work with tight tolerances and produce high-quality parts.

  • Familiarity with various machining equipment and tools.
