Job description

We’re hiring experienced Brake Press Mechanics / Setup Operators for a growing precision sheet metal manufacturer.
This is not a basic operator position. We need experienced people who can set up their own brake press, select tooling, read blueprints, and take a job from setup through production.

Available Shifts ☀️ 1st Shift: Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
�� 2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs | 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
Overtime available based on production needs.

What You'll Do
  • Perform complete brake press setups
  • Read blueprints, travelers & setup sheets
  • Select and install proper tooling
  • Load programs and setups into the controller
  • Bend parts to print specifications
  • Complete first-piece inspections
  • Verify critical dimensions and make adjustments
  • Document quality and production results
  • Perform preventive machine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot setup and production issues
What We're Looking For
  • 3–5 years of Brake Press experience
  • Strong setup experience required
  • Blueprint reading
  • Brake press tooling knowledge
  • Understanding of bends, tolerances & dimensions
  • Precision measuring/quality inspection experience
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
