Position
Swenson Spreader is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will apply lean manufacturing principles to set up and operate press brake machines, performing tasks such as bending, forming, notching, and straightening metal parts based on specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines for production runs
  • Interpret blueprints, bend deductions, and job specifications
  • Utilize CNC press brake controllers to program, modify, optimize bend sequences
  • Select proper tooling and machine setups
  • Perform bending, forming, and straightening operations
  • Inspect finished parts and verify accuracy
  • Record production data and maintain workflow
  • Operate an overhead crane to move material
  • Perform operator maintenance
  • Follow safety and quality standards

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of press brake setup and operation experience
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
