Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This job is directly responsible for overseeing the day-to- day work of Water Technicians. This job also entails water extraction, structural drying, odor removal, detail structural cleaning and sanitizing, fire damage cleanup, and complete decontamination. The Lead Water Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate record counts so that customer fulfillment rates remain high.

As a Lead Water Technician, you will:

· Be part of a disaster response team for emergency services including water and fire damage remediation

· Take damage assessments, moisture readings and able to collaborate with a team of technicians daily on disaster restoration jobs

· Perform water extraction, remedial demolition and drying

· Complete all aspects of fire cleaning including cleaning structures and contents

· Complete all aspects of water remediation

· Perform deep cleanings in customers’ homes

· Perform pack outs; boxing, inventory, and packing contents from customer homes

· Assist with cleaning equipment

· Complete Daily Activity Reports, Compliance Tasks, and work orders & timecard approvals

· Work in PPE

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

· Must be customer driven; Have a clean background and driving record with 5 years or more driving experience

· Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration; Certified in Mold, Water, & Asbestos Remediation

· High School Diploma or higher education

· Willing to train; Must be available for emergency work after hours and on weekends including on-call shifts

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Ability to lift, carry, push, pull at least 50 lbs.

· Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
