Job description

Own a Box Truck? Turn Your Early Mornings Into Steady Income.
If you're an owner operator or master contractor with a 26 ft box truck and a lift gate, we want to talk. Dropoff is building out a brand new operation in the Detroit and Toledo markets, and we're looking for reliable, professional drivers to run daily routes and grow with us.
This is consistent, repeatable work you can count on. Routes run Tuesday through Saturday mornings, starting at 12:00 AM and wrapping up around 8:00 AM, give or take depending on the route. You get your day back before most people have finished their first cup of coffee.
Company Overview
Dropoff is a same-day, last mile delivery service that enables businesses across industries to meet rising expectations for faster deliveries. Through our proprietary technology platform and trusted, professional delivery drivers, Dropoff seamlessly becomes an extension of any business and a true logistics partner. Dropoff Tracker increases enterprise businesses' visibility into all of their deliveries, with details of all orders and assigned drivers available in one centralized and dynamic map. Real-time tracking and confirmations, transparent pricing, flexible delivery options, and feature-rich APIs bring modern courier services to market that equip businesses with the resources they need to satisfy customers and achieve their goals.
Why Contract With Dropoff
  • Non-CDL 26 ft truck work. You provide your own vehicle and insurance.
  • Daily routes, Tuesday through Saturday, early morning hours (12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, more or less depending on the route).
  • Paid by the delivery.
  • Steady, repeatable work with a company that treats its contractors like partners.

What We're Looking For
We are contracting owner operators and master contractors who bring their own 26 ft box truck with a lift gate. Your truck must be DOT compliant and operate under your own DOT number, and Dropoff will verify this on an ongoing basis throughout the contract. Drivers must be willing to run all five days, Tuesday through Saturday.
Requirements
  • Own a 26 ft box truck with a lift gate
  • DOT compliant with your own DOT number (verified continuously during the contract)
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • A current driver's license and clean driving record
  • A chauffeur's license if your truck has air brakes
  • Available to run all five days, Tuesday through Saturday
  • Tech savvy. You're comfortable using a smartphone and apps.

Ready to roll? Apply today and let's get you on a route.
