Position Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing fiber construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires hands-on coordination with field crews, subcontractors, and customers while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across aerial and underground construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily fiber construction activities, including aerial, underground, and pole placement work
  • Coordinate and supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing project updates, concerns, and expectations
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, industry regulations, and local requirements
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and permits
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, and operations) to align project execution
  • Track production, materials, and labor to support project reporting and cost control
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to scope
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all job sites
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in fiber construction (required)
  • Strong knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods, including pole placement
