Overview

Senior Management Analyst (TPSS):

Bowhead is seeking a Senior Management Analyst for the upcoming Technical Project Support Services (TPSS) contract in Patuxent, MD. TPSS supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in delivering mission-critical systems and services. The effort provides a wide range of technical, project management, engineering, logistics, training, and administrative support for air, ship, shore, expeditionary, and surveillance systems that directly support warfighter operations.

The Senior Management Analyst applies advanced analytic techniques to evaluate program and project objectives to analyze requirements, status, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Performs management, technical, and business case analyses and oversees the collection, organization, and interpretation of data related to IDS Division acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program and project status, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
  • Applies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control, and data management.
  • Ability to utilize project management tools Conducts quantitative analysis of financial data and supports project managers by providing recommendations to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Develops budget estimates for completeness accuracy, and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Utilizes N-ERP to perform financial execution functions and support data calls as needed.
  • In addition to financial responsibilities, directs and mentors junior analysts and conducts training as necessary to enhance their understanding and application of analytical techniques and methodologies.

Qualifications
  • At least ten (10) years of experience and a master's degree or bachelor's degree plus four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a Master's; of the minimum required 10 years of experience, at least 3 years of experience must be in a business functional area with the U.S. Navy or other DoD program.
  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
