About Our Practices

Plantation Dermatology and Hollywood Dermatology are two thriving, patient-centered dermatology practices offering a dynamic blend of medical and cosmetic skin care to the South Florida community. With a growing cosmetic patient base and a full menu of aesthetic services including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and more our practices are at the cutting edge of both medical and aesthetic dermatology. We are seeking a passionate, aesthetics-minded Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team full-time across both of our Broward County locations.

Schedule:

5 days per week: 3 days in Hollywood, 2 days in Plantation

Locations: Hollywood Dermatology, Hollywood, FL Plantation Dermatology, Plantation, FL

Cosmetic Experience Highly Valued Candidates with hands-on experience in neurotoxins (Botox/Dysport), dermal fillers, laser platforms, chemical peels, or other aesthetic procedures are strongly encouraged to apply. Cosmetic proficiency can lead to expanded responsibilities and enhanced compensation.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Dermatology

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical dermatology conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, and skin infections
  • Conduct full-body skin exams, skin cancer screenings, and suspicious lesion workups
  • Perform in-office procedures including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and collaborate with supervising physician per Florida law

Cosmetic Dermatology

  • Administer neurotoxin injections (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) for facial rejuvenation
  • Perform dermal filler treatments (lips, cheeks, jawline, tear troughs, etc.)
  • Operate and/or assist with laser and energy-based device treatments
  • Conduct cosmetic consultations and develop personalized aesthetic treatment plans
  • Recommend and support medical-grade skincare regimens and cosmeceutical products
  • Educate patients on preventive skincare, sun protection, and anti-aging strategies

General

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centered team environment

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active Florida PA-C or NP (ARNP) licensure in good standing
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority
  • Minimum 1 2 years of dermatology experience required
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in cosmetic dermatology
  • Proficiency with dermatologic procedures (biopsy, cryotherapy, excisions, etc.)
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on injector experience with neurotoxins and/or dermal fillers
  • Experience with laser, IPL, radiofrequency, or other energy-based devices
  • Knowledge of cosmeceutical skincare lines and aesthetic consultation
  • Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine (EMA) or similar EHR platforms
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus South Florida patient population
