Location: Santa Ana, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Setting: Hybrid preferred; remote may be considered

Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 base salary plus commission

About Huisong:
Huisong is a global supplier of botanical extracts, herbal raw materials, and functional ingredients used by companies in the dietary supplement, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Our customers rely on us for high-quality ingredients, consistent supply, technical documentation, and long-term partnership.
We are looking for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to help grow our nutraceutical ingredient business across North America. This is a B2B sales role focused on bulk ingredients and raw materials, not retail or direct-to-consumer products.

About the Role
In this role, you will manage customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, respond to product and pricing inquiries, and support customers through the ingredient selection and qualification process.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in ingredient sales, technical B2B sales, account management, business development, or related industries such as nutraceuticals, food ingredients, botanical extracts, pharmaceutical raw materials, specialty ingredients, or chemicals.

The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, learning about products, following up with customers, and helping companies find the right ingredient solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities with supplement brands, manufacturers, contract manufacturers, distributors, and other B2B customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, RFQs, pricing requests, sample requests, and product availability questions.
  • Support customers through the ingredient evaluation, vendor approval, and commercialization process.
  • Provide product specifications, COAs, technical documents, and other customer support materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
  • Maintain accurate customer notes, sales activity, pipeline updates, and forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of B2B sales, account management, inside sales, business development, or customer relationship management experience.
  • Experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food ingredients, botanical extracts, pharmaceutical raw materials, specialty ingredients, chemicals, industrial supply, or another technical B2B product category is preferred.
  • Experience selling or supporting bulk ingredients, raw materials, or technical products is helpful.
  • Ability to understand and communicate product information, specifications, COAs, and quality-related documentation.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple customers, projects, and long sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and in the future. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce.
  • Existing relationships in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, food ingredient, or botanical ingredient industry.
  • Knowledge of botanical ingredients, herbal raw materials, or dietary supplement applications.

Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary plus commission.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • 401(k)
  • Opportunity to grow with a global company.

Work Environment:
This position is ideally connected to our Santa Ana, California office for training, collaboration, and customer support. Hybrid work is preferred, and remote work may be considered for candidates with strong industry experience.

Equal Opportunity Employer:
Huisong is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants and provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and sincerely held religious beliefs, in accordance with applicable laws.
