Job description

Southern Botanical is seeking Landscape Crew Members who take pride in their work and deliver excellent customer service every day. Join a company committed to being “The Green Standard” in the landscape industry. In this role, you will work alongside your team to support daily landscape maintenance and/or installation on client properties by safely operating equipment and hand tools, following direction from your supervisor, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
 

Position Responsibilities

  • Safely operate landscape equipment and hand tools as assigned
  • Assist with day-to-day landscape maintenance
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
  • Follow company processes, safety guidelines, and quality standards
  • Perform all duties the SoBo Way


Requirements:

  • Valid state driver’s license preferred; must be eligible to work on job sites and operate company equipment as assigned
  • 1-2 years’ experience in landscape field
  • Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and general site cleanup
  • Ability to follow work instructions, schedules, and job-site direction from a Crew Leader or Supervisor
  • Ability to safely use landscape tools and equipment after training
  • Willingness to learn proper use, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with crew leaders and supervisors
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds
