Job description

Overview

As our Sr. DevOps Engineer, Cloudflare, you'll help drive Concora Credit's Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit - every single day.

The impact you'll have at Concora Credit:

Lead the charge in building and managing a world-class DevOps organization that fuels innovation and disrupts the traditional mold. Shape our future by championing progressive design, efficient processes, and cross-functional collaboration. This is your chance to leave your mark, drive meaningful progress, and have fun while doing it!

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members. Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit. Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more. As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More! We're an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we're taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

Responsibilities

As our Sr. DevOps Engineer, Cloudflare, you will:

  • Own Cloudflare end-to-end- zones, DNS, WAF, caching, bot management, and Workers. Lead the migration from Azure Front Door to Cloudflare as a core initiative.
  • Harden the edge- tune WAF rules, defend against OWASP Top 10, and build bot mitigation strategies that protect our brands across all traffic.
  • Build in Terraform, not the dashboard- own and scale our entire Cloudflare estate as code. No manual drift.
  • Drive CI/CD delivery- design and maintain pipelines that automate deployments, enforce quality gates, and accelerate release cycles.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure- architect and manage Azure environments, including containers (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud migrations, and cost optimization.
  • Operate with an AI mindset-actively integrate AI tooling into DevOps workflows to improve observability, automation, and delivery speed.
  • Communicate and collaborate- work across engineering, security, and product teams. Translate complex infrastructure decisions into clear guidance for stakeholders.

These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. If your experience is close to what we're looking for, consider applying. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Eight or more years of senior-level experience within a DevOps organization is required.
  • Hands-on Cloudflare expertise is required, with at least four years running Cloudflare in production across zones and DNS, WAF and managed rulesets, caching and rules, and bot management.
  • Cloudflare certification (ACE or ACSE) is strongly preferred; equivalent hands-on production experience will be considered in its place.
  • Application security experience is required, including WAF tuning, OWASP Top 10, and bot mitigation.
  • Proven track record in designing, building, and managing large-scale cloud solutions.
  • Extensive expertise in infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Biceps is essential, including building and maintaining our full Cloudflare estate in Terraform.
  • Holding relevant cloud certifications is required, including Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500). Multicloud certifications are preferred, and AWS or Google Cloud is equally welcome.
  • Demonstrated ability in architecting, designing, and deploying applications within cloud environments is a key requirement.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline management, including application delivery, data pipelines, and security as code.
  • Full stack development experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills emphasizing clear and timely communication, are vital.
  • Actively explore the convergence of AI and DevOps capabilities to foster innovation within the organization.

What's In It For You:

  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance for you and your family
  • Relax and recharge with Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 6 company-observed paid holidays, plus 3 paid floating holidays
  • 401k (after 90 days) plus employer match up to 4%
  • Pet Insurance for your furry family members
  • Wellness perks including onsite fitness equipment at both locations, EAP, and access to the Headspace App
  • We invest in your future through Tuition Reimbursement
  • Save on taxes with Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Peace of mind with Life and AD&D Insurance
  • Protect yourself with company-paid Long-Term Disability and voluntary Short-Term Disability
