Steel Tech USA is a leading Cold Formed Steel manufacture headquartered in Lewisville, TX. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated HR & Marketing Assistant to support both our people operations and our brand presence. This is an in-office position, Mon - Friday 8 - 5pm.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the HR and Marketing Director, you will play a dual role supporting daily HR operations alongside marketing and communications initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile, detail-oriented professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a role for someone who likes to do something different every day. This is not a boring data entry job! You will also be coordinating lunches, running occasional work-related errands, and really learning how entrepreneurs' work.ย
Key Responsibilities:
HR Functions:ย
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment: job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.ย
- Onboard new hires, prepare offer letters and employment documentation.ย
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.ย
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes.ย
- Coordinate employee training sessions and track completion.ย
- Handle HR inquiries and escalate issues appropriately.ย
- Assist in organizing company events and recognition programs.ย
Marketing Functions:ย
- Create and schedule content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and company website.ย
- Support the development of marketing materials, brochures, and presentations.ย
- Assist in writing press releases, newsletters, and internal communications.ย
- Coordinate trade show attendance, promotional materials, and sponsorships.ย
- Track marketing metrics and compile monthly performance reports.ย
- Manage company photography and media asset library.ย
- Coordinate with vendors and design agencies on campaigns.
Qualifications:
- 1โ3 years of experience in HR, marketing, or an administrative support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
