The Global Mobility Team is responsible for mobilizing our people virtually, nationally and globally in support of the firm’s growth and talent agenda.  The team is responsible for delivering the KPMG international assignment program where we facilitate the movement of our people on short-term and long-term assignments to KPMG offices around the world.  The team also supports all international and domestic relocations for the Canadian firm, international business travelers, remote work requests and assists with Canadian immigration and permanent residency matters.

What you will do
  • Work with our business leaders and our recruitment team on the placement and management of inbound & outbound GO assignment candidates, operational case management and ensuring that the overall program objectives are achieved.
  • Promotes and communicates the GO program. This includes participation in local & virtual office presentations, regular reporting on mobility program utilization, and processes mobility packages with KPMG global contacts.
  • Work with the team on standardization, automation and offshoring projects.
  • Oversee social security and benefits calculations and reconciliations.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure appropriate and efficient deployment of our programs and continuously developing and implementing enhancements to processes.
  • Managing the tax, immigration and benefits analysis of all assignments.
  • Participate in the global discussions as required.
  • Responsible for running costs projections per country and per level.
  • Act as an ambassador for KPMG to ensure candidates are provided with a positive recruitment experience.
  • Provide regular communication and reporting to theWorkforce Mobility Leader and escalate issues and obstacles as appropriate.

What you bring to the role
  • A minimum of 5 years of Canadian immigration or Global Mobility experience in a high volume environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Immigration or related field.
  • Experience overseeing or working on global mobility programs.
  • Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • A solid understanding of cross border taxation & immigration matters.
  • Experience in maintaining and building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A commitment to ensuring candidates and employees receive highly professional and well-regarded experience throughout the mobility process.
  • Proficient in using technology including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast paced, highly demanding, team environment.
  • Ability and experience to prioritize work based on requirements of multiple stakeholders.
  • Performance management or coaching experience.
  • An ability and desire to follow processes consistently and to create efficiencies as required.
  • Working written and oral proficiency in French is required

This position requires written and oral fluency in English because it involves interpretation and application of English standards, guidance, immigration laws and regulations, servicing and influencing of English-speaking clients located across Canada and collaboration with English Speaking colleagues and Leaders located outside of Quebec.

The expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. The expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $111,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards.
