Instructors may also mentor students, assess progress, and prepare them for job opportunities. The role requires strong subject knowledge, teaching ability, and a passion for helping learners succeed.

What does a bootcamp instructor do?

A typical day for a Bootcamp Instructor involves delivering live lectures, guiding hands-on coding labs or projects, and providing individual or group feedback to students. Instructors often collaborate with teaching assistants to support students, manage classroom dynamics, and address questions in real time. Regular duties may also include curriculum planning, grading assignments, and holding office hours for extra help. This role is dynamic and interactive, requiring flexibility to adjust teaching methods to meet varied learning styles and keep learners engaged. Most instructors work in fast-moving cohorts with set schedules, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere focused on student success.
