Pro Tax & Business Solutions, LLC is a professional tax and accounting firm serving individuals and small businesses in and around Gaston, SC. The firm focuses on accurate, timely, and compliant tax services, as well as reliable bookkeeping, payroll and financial reporting support. Team members work closely with clients to understand their unique financial situations and provide practical guidance. The environment emphasizes integrity, client service, and ongoing learning in tax and accounting practices.


Role Description:

This is an on-site Tax Accountant role is based in Gaston, SC, full-time during tax season and flexible during the off season. The Tax Accountant will prepare individual and business (including Corporate & Partnership) tax returns, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and assist with tax planning to optimize client outcomes.


Daily responsibilities include reviewing source documents, organizing financial data, reconciling accounts, and preparing or reviewing financial statements to support tax filings. The role will also involve communicating with clients to gather information, answer tax-related questions, and explain filing results. Additional duties may include staying current with tax law changes, supporting internal process improvements, and collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.


In addition to tax accounting, this position will provide payroll, bookkeeping, fixed asset accounting for several small local businesses.
