Job description

We are looking for a dependable Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for a company based in Denver, Colorado. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can work independently, maintain accurate financial records, and keep payables, receivables, and reconciliations on track. The role requires strong hands-on bookkeeping experience and confidence in managing core accounting tasks with minimal oversight.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, entering transactions, and preparing payments on schedule.

• Oversee accounts receivable processes by issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances.

• Reconcile bank and financial accounts regularly to confirm accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to ensure financial data is complete and properly classified.

• Keep bookkeeping records organized and up to date to support accurate reporting and smooth month-end close activities.

• Use QuickBooks to process daily accounting transactions and maintain reliable financial information.

• Work independently to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and ensure essential accounting functions are completed accurately.

• Assist with routine financial reviews by preparing documentation and supporting information as needed.
