Job Description

Basin Glacial Waters is a brand new, highly anticipated wellness facility that will offer guests a truly luxurious experience. As part of our Concierge team you will have the opportunity to guide guests along their journey to wellness, while experiencing our one in a lifetime views and services. Individuals in this role will have the opportunity to turn Moments into Special Memories by managing and maintaining bookings for the facility, providing guidance on specialty experiences, and collaborating with the Fairmont Spa on additional treatment options. https://www.thebasin.com

Pay Rate: $20.63/hour
Start Date: June 2026

*Incentive bonus payable at the first pay period upon completion of 30 days

Job Duties Include:

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job function include but are not limited to the following:

  • Handle Basin reservations, respond to guest inquiries via phone and email, and monitor voicemail to ensure timely responses.
  • Work closely with Fairmont Spa concierge to provide guests with additional treatment options
  • Meet booking quotas, promote hotel services and spa amenities, and develop product knowledge to assist with treatment selection and retail sales.
  • Generate and audit daily reports, maintain office records, and ensure reservation accuracy.
  • Assist with Facility attendants and Lounge servers as needed during peak times
  • Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous reservations or sales experience is an asset
  • Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS) experience an asset
  • Book4Time booking system experience an asset
  • Must display strong communication, analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, and Excel
  • Must be willing to work shifts (including split shifts) and varied days off on occasion and able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
