Dollar Express is the newest entrant in the dollar store segment of the retail industry. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Dollar Express operates 330 Stores in 36 states.
As a Dollar Express Assistant Store Manager you willresponsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. A key priorityincludes assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store. Underthe direction of the Store Manager, you will also be responsible formaintaining inventories, store appearance and completing daily paperwork.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Greets and assists customers in apositive, approachable manner. Answers questions and resolves customerinquiries and concerns. Maintains a presence in the store by providingexcellent customer service. Ensures a clean, well-stocked store for customers.At the direction of the Store Manager, supervises, trains, and develops StoreTeam Members on Dollar Express operating practices and procedures. Assists inunloading all merchandise from delivery truck, organizes merchandise, andtransfers merchandise from stockroom to store. Assists Store Manager inordering merchandise and record keeping to include payroll, scheduling and cashregister deposits and receipts. Supports Store Manager in loss preventionefforts. Assumes certain management responsibilities in absence of StoreManager. Follows all Company policies and procedures.
