Job Title: Store Leader Report To: District Leader
Job Overview

We are a fourth-generation, family-owned business looking for dedicated and loyal team members with a passion for service on the job and in our communities to join our growing work family. The perfect fit for our team would be a person who would create a positive store culture by treating employees fairly and with respect. Additionally, they would be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 100% total customer focus.
Experience and Education
  • Some management experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous retail experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
  • Lead the Customer First Culture in the assigned store
  • Conduct weekly management team meetings/monthly store meetings and encourage on-going open communication, feedback, and follow-up
  • Develop and maintain fully staffed stores with fully trained management team members and sales associates
  • Create the work schedule according to operating hours to make sure the store is staffed sufficiently
  • Comply with Minuteman programs, policies, and procedures as well as regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyze business processes and results to achieve profitable store goals
  • Observe and evaluate each employee's job performance against goals
  • Capable of performing the required reports with an understanding of the price book
  • Connect with the community to establish positive relationships, development, and store success
  • Maintain cigarette counts
  • Secure lottery tickets per company policy and perform daily audits on the tickets
  • Administer corrective action plans/conference reports(write-ups)
  • Assume responsibility for assignments as needed
Work Schedule
Leaders are required to work 50 hrs. per week. Leaders are to work 1-weekend day and 1-night shift per month.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate by talking and hearing. This position is very active and requires constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and some climbing.
