Job description

We're hiring an Account Executive to own relationships all the way to a closed deal — not just the intro. The person who sits in the middle, reads both sides, and gets it over the line, across any market.

Summary
  • Flexible Title: Can tailor to reflect your skills & experience.
  • Flexible Time: Can do full-time, part-time, side-gig (off-hours), or fractional (contract).
  • Flexible Commitment: Can do short-term, long-term, or intermittent.
  • No specific industry required. If you can build trust and close, the market doesn't matter — real estate, business, capital, services, we want the closer.

Why so flexible? We're a FUNDED startup racing to launch end of Q3 2026. That gives us just 3 months to stack features while raising additional working capital. Feel free to jump in, help us ship, then bounce >> or stick around. A successful launch translates into lots of permanent jobs for those that want them. We're also interested in long-term "side gig" relationships, if that's what you're into—in our experience, a few expert hours often beat full-time learning-curve hours.

About Us

We're a credible, funded, remote-first startup backed by a growing team. We're pre-launch and moving fast — building the kind of relationship-driven deal network that connects people who have something with people who want it.

About The Role

This is the next step up from a BDR / opener seat: instead of filling the top of the funnel, you own the deal until it's done. We need someone who can take a warm relationship, understand what each side actually needs, negotiate the messy middle, and close — while we sprint toward public launch.

This isn't a book-of-accounts customer-success seat. It's new-business closing. Whether the deal is a relationship, a partnership, or a two-sided introduction that turns into a transaction, you are the person who doesn't let it die in "let's talk next week."

This is ideal for someone with 4–6+ years in sales, brokering, or business development who has already graduated from "I can get the meeting" to "I can get the yes" and wants ownership without a long corporate ladder.

You'll answer: Is this a real opportunity or a polite maybe? What does each side need to say yes? What's the next concrete step, and who owns it?

Compensation

Up to $160,000+ OTE (base plus uncapped commission) for full-time performers; cash, commission, and equity components to be negotiated. Given the flexible commitment model, comp will be structured accordingly — fractional, hourly, or performance-only arrangements welcome for the right relationships and close rate.

What You'll Do in Your First 7 Days
  • You've reviewed how we source opportunities, qualify them, and track deals today
  • You've gotten access to our CRM and mapped where live opportunities sit
  • You've picked up live conversations and made your first round of close-oriented follow-up
  • You've attended your first team standup and understand how a relationship becomes a closed, tracked deal
  • The team knows who you are, why you're here, and how you'll work together
What You'll Do Ongoing
  • Own deals to close — take qualified opportunities from conversation to agreement; don't hand them off
  • Sit in the middle — understand both sides, surface the real objections, and keep everyone moving
  • Qualify hard — spend time on real opportunities, not polite interest
  • Run the close process — next steps, follow-up, and the phone call that actually gets a decision
  • Keep the pipeline honest — log status so we know what's real, what's stalled, and what's dead
  • Feed the system — tell the team what kinds of intros and relationships actually close, so we source better
What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • 4–6+ years in sales, account executive, brokering, or business development with a track record of closing, not just booking meetings
  • Comfortable in the middle of a deal — you can represent both sides' interests and still get to a yes
  • Phone-first — you'd rather call than email, especially when something is stuck
  • Organized and self-directed — you run your own pipeline without daily check-ins
  • Thick-skinned and persistent — follow-up is how deals close, and you actually do it

Nice-to-have:

  • An existing network you can work immediately across one or more markets
  • Experience closing two-sided deals (buyer and seller, partner and partner, not just a one-way pitch)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (and the discipline to actually use one)
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
What You're NOT
  • Not a BDR / opener — this seat owns the close, not just the intro
  • Not a customer-success account manager — this is new-business closing, not farming a book of existing accounts
  • Not a cold-script reader — this is genuine relationship closing, not a call center
