Job description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for performance of preventive maintenance activities on assigned medical equipment, reverse/osmosis water systems, dialysate delivery systems, inventory controls and quality controls.  Performs and completes assigned duties and reporting in a timely, efficient, and competent manner.  Complies with University Health and department policies and regulations for proper use and care of equipment and supplies.  Maintains good public and personnel working relations

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Course of study in repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment or RO water treatment is required. National Certification through BONENT or NANT preferred.  Two years of experience in preventive maintenance activities, maintenance and repair of dialysis machines, and water treatment equipment are required
