This 186-bed acute care community hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has received several national recognitions from organizations such as Leap Frog and Health Grades for quality and patient safety. As an affiliate of a world-renowned healthcare system, this facility offers a collaborative and high-quality practice environment with strong institutional support.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Surgery - Orthopedic
Job Details:
  • Outpatient clinic, hospital, and surgical blocks practice setting
  • Join a team of 2 currently practicing physicians
  • 100% adult patient population
  • 95%+ of practice is office/clinic based; 5% inpatient
  • 2-3 exam rooms with lab and X-ray onsite
  • Office ancillary staff includes 1 nurse and 1 receptionist
  • EMR system: EPIC
  • Trauma Level I facility
  • On call 10 days per month
  • Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
  • Open to H1B visa candidates
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery required
  • Active Ohio license required (or willingness to obtain)
  • BLS and ACLS required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience required with procedures including: arthritis, bursitis, dislocations, joint pain and swelling, ligament tears, bunions, fasciitis, foot and ankle deformities, fractures, torn labrum, SLAP tears, corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid injections, frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis, impingement syndrome, rotator cuff tears, bone deformities, bone infections, bone tumors, carpal tunnel syndrome, ganglion cysts, tendinitis, tendon tears, cartilage and meniscus injuries, and tennis/golfer's elbow
