NP/PA Opportunity at Bon Secours Chesterfield Family Medicine!
Bon Secours is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Chesterfield Family Medicine practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team serving a diverse and loyal community just outside Richmond.
Highlights:
  • Outpatient-only family medicine practice
  • Established patient panel - step into an existing practice
  • Flexible schedule with weekday hours
  • Telemedicine supported
  • Typical volume: 18-20 patients per day
  • On-call: 1 week every 3 weeks (phone call only, low volume ~4 calls/week, no refills)

Practice Overview:
  • Well-established, community-focused practice with strong multi-generational patient relationships
  • Patient population: ages 13+ (open to providers seeing younger patients)
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture emphasizing respect, collaboration, and exceptional patient care
  • 1:1 clinical support (CMA/LPN)
  • On-site physician collaborator and strong regional APC/physician network

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive primary care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with Virginia regulations
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
  • Review labs, manage in-basket messages, and coordinate referrals
  • Participate in shared call schedule

Qualifications:
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience in family medicine preferred, but new graduates welcome
