What is a bomb detection dog handler?

Bomb detection dog handlers are trained professionals responsible for working with specially trained dogs to detect explosives in various environments, such as airports, public events, and government buildings. They train, care for, and guide their dogs during search operations to ensure public safety. The handler interprets the dog's signals and communicates findings to law enforcement or security teams. This role requires strong teamwork between the handler and dog, as well as knowledge of safety protocols and explosive detection methods.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a bomb detection dog handler?
