Job description

Business Office Manager (BOM)

If youโ€™re looking for a place where your skills make a real difference, this is it. Weโ€™re searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our leadership team. In this role, youโ€™ll oversee the business office functions that keep our facility running smoothly โ€” from accurate billing and timely collections to excellent customer service for residents and families.

Who weโ€™re looking for:
A Business Office Manager (BOM) with strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. You understand healthcare billing, enjoy tracking data, and can balance accuracy with building positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the business office.

  • Manage billing, collections, and accounts receivable for all payer types (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, private pay).

  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with regulations.

  • Serve as the primary contact for resident and family financial inquiries.

  • Collaborate with admissions and nursing to ensure proper documentation for billing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing practices.

  • Proficiency with EMR and billing software.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

What we offer:

  • Supportive and professional work environment.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Paid vacation and sick time.

If youโ€™re ready to bring your expertise to a team that values both accuracy and people, weโ€™d like to hear from you.
