We are currently hiring for our Utilities team! Positions are available for either Swing Shift or Graveyard Shift.

REQUIREMENTS: Advanced Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance, Brazing, Welding, Fabrication, Electrical, PLC’s, Boilers, Refrigeration, HVAC, Use of All Hand/ Power Tools and Equipment, Strong Work Ethic, Communication Skills, Understanding the Role of Maintenance in Food Safety, Workplace Ethics

  1. Ability to identify root causes of breakdowns on various types of utility equipment.
  1. Troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair pumps, electrical systems, motors, gearboxes, bearings, sprockets, drive chains, electrical controls, air compressors, augers, plumbing and lighting.
  1. Knowledge and ability to perform preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling units, condensers, boiler systems, Ammonia & Freon compressors, and understanding of refrigeration cycles.
  1. Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a daily maintenance activity report of work performed, read and understand electrical schematics with the use of equipment manuals

Recommended Skill:

Completed Course of Ammonia Operator I & Boiler Operator I

Certification and/or degree in Industrial Maintenance Course Program

Knowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Boiler Systems, and Chillers

Qualifications:

  1. Requires a minimum of 2 yrs experience in Refrigeration and HVAC
  1. Must have EPA (universal) License or Certification
  1. Must pass safety requirements including: confined space and lockout/tag out.
  1. Ability to read, understand, and follow OSHA requirements on MSDS.
  1. Ability to read and understand all job hazards and food safety involving maintenance.
  1. Ability to read and understand preventative maintenance schedules and work orders related to equipment and machinery.
  1. Familiar with safety devices including air, steam, and electrical shutoff.
