Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible to:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
• Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Work closely with the Chief Engineer to define feature specifications and build products
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance.
• Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 14+ years of experience
• Four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
Required Qualifications:
• An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience with the following software development skills:
§ Git
§ Java, C++, and/or Python
§ Relational database, such as Postgres
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with:
§ Docker/Kubernetes
§ HAProxy
§ Nginx
§ Elastic Stack
Telework/Remote Availability:
Hybrid work authorized, up to 16 hours per week, depending on team and workload

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$175,000 - $210,000
