Job description

Our fitness studio is thriving, and we are looking for a knowledgeable and energetic fitness instructor who can teach innovative and engaging classes to our members. You will be in charge of leading fitness classes for a variety of different-sized groups of people. While we want our classes to be physically challenging, we also place an emphasis on safety and meeting our members' individual fitness levels.

All programming will be provided along with coaching notes on setup and intent. Barbell training experience is required, and CrossFit experience is a plus. Apply today if you have a positive attitude, a passion for fitness, and previous instructing experience!

Compensation:

$24 - $30 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that classes are fun and engaging while also being physically challenging and safe for participants
  • Prepare and execute group training sessions within 3xF's facilities

  • Help clients progress their fitness safely through appropriate exercise scaling and modification

  • Review any necessary materials in our workout tracking software before class 

  • Execute group training sessions according to the most up-to-date SOPs

  • Make connections with members that help foster long-term relationships


Qualifications:
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
  • This role requires fitness instructor certification
  • Must hold or currently be working towards a CrossFit Certification or other fitness certification from an approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NAMS, NCSA, AFFA, or NFPT (NCCA Certified)

  • Experience training people in a group and/or 1-on-1 setting
