To thrive as a Body Waxing Specialist, you need knowledge of hair removal techniques, sanitation standards, and usually a state cosmetology or esthetician license. Familiarity with waxing products, skin care tools, and booking or point-of-sale software is common in this role. Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to make clients feel comfortable are vital soft skills. These competencies ensure safe, effective treatments and a positive client experience, which are essential for client retention and professional success.
