Job description

Xcite Automotive is now seeking Automotive Junior Detailers for our partner dealers in Hardeeville, South Carolina!

Job Description: As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch cleaning, polishing, and refurbishing services to vehicles, ensuring they maintain a pristine appearance inside and out. If you take pride in your work and enjoy helping vehicles look their best, we’d love to have you on board!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs
  • Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
  • Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches and torn upholstery.
  • Takes out unwanted materials when needed- Keep the car wash area clean/organized
  • Utilize special purpose cleaners to insure lasting cleanliness of vehicle
  • Operate all tools in a safe manner
  • Report any safety issues to Management

Minimum Qualifications / Must-Haves: 

  • 1+ years of professional automotive detailing experience (dealership or reconditioning environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of detailing tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment with high turnaround demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Reliable transportation and full-time availability (including some weekends if required).
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications / Nice-to-Haves: 

  • Previous experience detailing vehicles in a dealership or high-volume reconditioning shop.
  • Familiarity with paint correction, buffing, or ceramic coating.
  • Strong time-management skills to handle multiple vehicles per day.
  • Team player with good communication skills
