Body Technician 

Job Summary:
The Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body parts and ensuring the work meets factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Repairs: Perform vehicle repairs according to estimates and manufacturer standards.
  • Parts Verification: Verify parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
  • Preparation: Prepare vehicles for body repair work, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for quality results.
  • Additional Repairs: Inform management of any additional repairs needed beyond the initial estimate.
  • Problem Reporting: Notify management of any issues that may affect the quality of work or alter the promised completion time.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Safety Practices: Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for usage.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all laws and regulations regarding hazardous materials, such as paint and thinners, and report any non-compliance to management.
