Role Overview

These are quota-carrying positions focused on selling enterprise software and AI solutions to police departments, sheriff's offices, district attorneys, public defenders, courts, corrections agencies, state investigative bodies, emergency-management organizations, and federal law-enforcement agencies. You'll be assigned a territory, customer segment, or strategic market based on your experience and relationships, and you'll own opportunities across complex, multi-stakeholder government procurement cycles.

What You'll Do

• Build andexecute a business plan for yourassigned territory, segment, orstrategic market
• Generate pipelinethrough direct outreach, referrals,conferences, partners, procurementportals, and contract vehicles
• Buildrelationships with chiefs, sheriffs,command staff, prosecutors,investigators, evidence and recordsmanagers, CIOs, CISOs, and procurementofficials
• Run discovery sessions andtranslate agency needs into businessand technical solutions
• Developbusiness cases around fasterinvestigations, reduced evidence-reviewtime, lower redaction costs, andstronger security and disclosure
• Coordinate demonstrations, executivebriefings, workshops, pilots, andproof-of-concept evaluations
• Managethe full sales cycle from qualificationthrough negotiation, award, andcontract execution
• Lead or supportresponses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs,cooperative contracts, and sole-sourceopportunities
• Navigate governmentprocurement, grant funding,appropriations, budget cycles, andpurchasing requirements
• Developchannel, SI, and government-contractingpartnerships to source direct andpartner-led opportunities
• RepresentVIDIZMO at public-safety conferences,association meetings, and industryforums
• Maintain accurate opportunity,activity, forecast, and customer datain CRM

AI Tools Usage & Accountability

You're expected to use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to strengthen your outputs - but AI-generated work is never final without your review. You own accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and business alignment on every deliverable, regardless of the tools used to produce it.

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of success in enterprise software, SaaS, government-technology, or public-safety-technology sales.
• Demonstrated experience selling to law enforcement, justice, or federal/state/county/municipal government agencies.
• Proven ability to generate new pipeline through direct prospecting.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Experience managing complex, lengthy, multi-stakeholder government sales cycles.
• Understanding of public-sector budgeting, procurement, contracting, and competitive solicitation.
• Ability to communicate credibly with agency executives, attorneys, investigators, IT and security leaders, and procurement officials.
• Strong discovery, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing skills.
• CRM proficiency for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating internal teams and partners.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, demos, conferences, and partner activities.
• Excellent English communication and U.S. market experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Established relationships within law enforcement, prosecution, public defense, courts, corrections, or federal public-safety agencies.
• Experience selling digital evidence management, body-camera, RMS, CAD, redaction, video management, investigation, cybersecurity, cloud, or AI solutions.
• Familiarity with evidence handling, chain of custody, discovery, disclosure, FOIA, public records, retention, and digital-evidence workflows.
• Working knowledge of the FBI CJIS Security Policy and related public-sector security requirements.
• Experience with government contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing, resellers, distributors, and systems integrators.
• Experience selling on-premises, private-cloud, dedicated-cloud, SaaS, or air-gapped solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in business, criminal justice, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Quarterly and annual bookings and revenue; qualified pipeline generation and coverage; new-customer acquisition; win rate and opportunity progression; forecast accuracy and CRM discipline; average contract value and cycle management; direct and partner-sourced opportunities; strategic account development; customer references and expansion; and compliance with pricing, contracting, and security procedures.
