What should I expect day-to-day when working at a body farm?

Working at a body farm, you can expect hands-on tasks such as monitoring decomposition, collecting data samples, recording environmental conditions, and maintaining research sites. The work often takes place outdoors in varying weather and can be physically demanding, with strict protocols to ensure safety and respect for donors. You’ll regularly collaborate with forensic scientists, students, and law enforcement professionals as part of a multidisciplinary research team. These responsibilities provide valuable real-world experience for those interested in forensic science careers and contribute directly to advancements in criminal investigations and research.
