Title: Bobcat Operator
Location: Field - Southwest, Florida
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: ODC Construction is looking for a skilled Bobcat Operator to operate a Bobcat and other related equipment to support various construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently, with the ability to handle diverse construction tasks, from material handling to site preparation.
Reports to: Director of Construction
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate Bobcat equipment and other heavy machinery on construction sites for various tasks, including excavation, grading, and material handling.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other machinery, moving them to required locations on the job site.
- Assist in site preparation, leveling, and grading to ensure proper foundation for construction projects.
- Work with supervisors and crew members to ensure that the equipment is used effectively and safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or mechanical issues to supervisors for timely repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring that tools and materials are properly stored.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other trades to ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Tasks may include standing, walking, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- This position requires the ability to work outdoors for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
