As our used boat and consignment business continues to grow, River Valley Marine is seeking an additional Marine Buyer & Consignment Specialist to join our Rochester team and help expand our inventory of quality pre-owned boats.

This is one of the most unique opportunities in the marine industry. We are looking for someone who combines strong marine knowledge, technical boat evaluation skills, and sales ability. What You'll Be Doing

  • Source and acquire quality used boats through private sellers, trade-ins, referrals, and dealership opportunities
    Evaluate vessel condition, features, age, maintenance history, and market demand
    Determine accurate purchase and resale values
    Negotiate purchase, trade, and consignment agreements with customers
    Build and manage a profitable inventory of quality pre-owned boats
    Create and manage online listings through Facebook Marketplace and other digital platforms
    Work with customers throughout the buying and selling process
    Assist with showroom traffic, dealership events, and boat sales opportunities
    Manage titles, contracts, and transaction paperwork accurately
    Maintain professional inventory presentation and merchandising standards
    Support overall used boat sales performance and dealership profitability


What We're Looking For

    Experience in marine, powersports, automotive, RV, or dealership environments preferred

  • MondayFriday: 8:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
    Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. (weekday off provided)
