Join our Staff as a Kitchen Team Member at Stumpy's Lakeside Grill!


“Stumpy's Lakeside Grill” is a self-serve, fast paced restaurant and marina located on Lake Granbury in Granbury TX. Our facility features a restaurant, bar, bakery, boutique, ship store, bait and tackle, gas dock, boat rental service, and boat slip leasing. We offer seasonal, full time, and part time positions in almost every department with opportunity for cross training and advancement.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings not only skill but also a positive attitude to the kitchen. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role: - At least 1 year of kitchen or culinary experience (Preferred but not required). - A strong work ethic and the ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment. - A commitment to delivering high-quality food consistently. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - A passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements


  • Job candidates must be Clean, professional, and personable.
  • Available to work mornings, evenings and/or nights.
  • Works well at a fast or slow pace
  • Able to safely use a knife and other cutting tools.
  • Some experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not required
  • TX Food Handlers Cert. (may be acquired no more than 30 days after being hired)


This job involves meat and produce products including fish, Shell fish, chicken, onions, tomatoes, citrus, jalapenos, and other food you may possibly be allergic to. Please be prepared to inform us of any and all know allergies.

Responsibilities


  • Set up, break down and clean workstation. As well as any dishes you may use.
  • Label, stock, and rotate inventory and all ingredients
  • Cooking on a grill, griddle or fryer, Prepare salads and tacos
  • Wash dishes
  • Sweep, Mop, Clean all surfaces
  • Clean inside and out of all equipment depending on your work station. (Filtering of fry oil and cleaning of grills, griddles, and other potentially hot surfaces)

Business Hours

Normal business hours are from 11 am to 9 pm Tuesday – Saturday, 8pm Sunday. Shifts start as early as 9 am and are normally no later than 11 pm. We are closed most Mondays and major family holidays excluding Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
