Maintenance Technician - Lake Blackshear Resort / GA Veterans State Park
Georgia Veterans State Park / Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Maintenance Technician. Our ideal candidate will be engaged, hands-on, and prepared to offer "best in class" service!
  1. campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800-acre cypress lakefront - Lake Blackshear. Lake Blackshear Resort 10 lake cabins, a full-service fine dining restaurant and bar, catering, seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with boat rental, and18 hole-golf course. In addition, we offer 82 camp sites (of which many are water front), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters and 4 open air picnic pavilions, swimming beach, 3D archery course and a military museum and static military displays of planes, cannons and tanks.

Qualifications: The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park. A potential candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines:
Basic electrical repair
Plumbing
Air Conditioning Repair Knowledge
Painting
Drywall Patching
Carpentry
