Job Summary

We are actively seeking an Operations Manager with a proven track record in boat building, someone who is not only skilled leadership and management but also hungry to help drive growth for both our company and their own professional journey. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated skills to lead and develop a team, build process and foster continuous improvement. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and collaborative leader who has the expertise and the drive to lead this charge within Premier Marine.
Essential Job Functions
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead, motivate and manage the team effectively
  • Manage teams performing activities in multiple disciplines
  • Coach and develop employees for improved performance

Strategic Planning and Decision Making
  • Make well informed, data driven decisions under pressure
  • Develop strategies and complete through the team to accomplish key objectives
  • Identify and solve complex problems

Production Oversight and Continuous Improvement
  • Manage day to day activities to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals are met
  • Drive efforts to continuously improve the production performance and reduce labor hours per boat, improve first-pass yield

Communication and Collaboration
  • Provide clear communications to maintain transparency and alignment across the organization
  • Collaborate with key business partners to ensure company goals are met

Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all products are built to meet or exceed quality standards
  • Implement quality control procedures including audits, procedures, inspections, and tests
