What is a BMOC?

BMOC stands for 'Big Man On Campus,' a term commonly used in North American colleges and universities to describe students who are highly popular, influential, or involved in major student activities, such as athletes, student leaders, or fraternity members. The phrase is often used informally to denote someone with significant social standing and visibility on campus. While traditionally associated with male students, the term can be used more broadly to refer to any student who is well-known and active in campus life.
