With over 15 years of success in commercial and industrial construction, this company is growing and needs an experienced PM who can own projects end-to-end — from pre-construction through close-out — while building strong client and trade partner relationships. If you thrive in a performance-driven environment, know steel construction inside and out, and want to work on meaningful projects with a team that gets things done.

  • Full suite of benefits, PTO/Vacation
  • Location: On-site in the Palm Beach, FL area; up to 25% travel to project sites

Role:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans for structural steel and metal construction projects
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities including shop drawing reviews, submittals, and RFIs
  • Review and negotiate project contracts, supplier agreements, and subcontractor scopes of work
  • Monitor and control project costs; prepare progress reports and manage change orders
  • Lead, mentor, and support site superintendents, foremen, and field crews
  • Serve as the primary client contact and manage relationships with GCs, engineers, estimators, and other project stakeholders
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all job sites
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee project close-out including punch lists, final inspections, and warranty documentation

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • PMP certification a plus
  • 10+ years of project management experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
  • Deep knowledge of structural steel design, fabrication, and erection practices
  • Ability to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications independently
