Job Summary
We offer solutions to help homeowners, property owners, businesses, and institutions restore what they value most. Assess, protect, and move our customer's furnishings and boxes, load them onto our truck, transport them, and unload them. This job requires problem-solving skills, heavy lifting, and excellent customer service skills. Helping people who have suffered significant trauma in their lives, such as fire, smoke or water damage can be gratifying.
Responsibilities
  • Ensures boxes and furniture are secure, safe, and free from additional damage. Notifies customer of expected arrival time before arrival and delivers and picks up contents at customer locations promptly.
  • Maintain inventory integrity by properly scanning boxes and furniture from job site to truck, truck to vault, vault to truck, and truck to the job site.
  • Assist in maintaining and cleaning vehicles and our facility
  • Maintain 5 S's; Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in dock areas including exterior truck wells
  • Notifies warehouse manager of any issue with delivered product Informs customer of repair options for damaged merchandise
  • Completes paperwork and forwards through appropriate channels including daily log sheets (DVIRs)
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • Experience in furniture moving, delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
  • Hold an unrestricted driving license in the state in which you will be driving Hold a Class C (chauffeur) license
  • Ability to handle a physical workload
  • Deadline-oriented
