Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As the NX/Teamcenter Administrator for Advanced Manufacturing, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and long-term administration of the digital backbone of our GSE and Automation development operations. This role is critical for establishing the "Single Source of Truth," ensuring a seamless data flow from initial design through manufacturing to the shop floor. This role requires close collaboration with AM design engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission is required!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the greenfield installation, configuration, and long-term administration of Siemens Teamcenter and NX, tailored for complex GSE and automation assemblies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust interfaces between Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens MES (Opcenter), and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to establish a "Single Source of Truth."
  • Develop, implement, and enforce CAD/PLM best practices, including release cycles, revision control, and automated workflows for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Configure the Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP) within Teamcenter to bridge the gap between engineering Bill of Materials (eBOM) and manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM).
  • Implement and manage access controls and data security protocols aligned with aerospace industry standards (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
  • Provide high-level technical support for the engineering and manufacturing teams and develop documentation and training materials to onboard new users into the ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Teamcenter/NX administration, specifically within the aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Extensive technical proficiency with Teamcenter architecture, including BMIDE, Active Workspace (AWC), and Workflow Designer.
  • Hands-on experience with T4EA (Teamcenter Gateway for Enterprise Applications) or similar middleware to connect PLM to ERP/MES systems.
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges of space hardware, including material traceability and complex configuration management.

Desired:

  • Master's degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
  • Experience with Teamcenter Manufacturing and Electronic Work Instructions (EWI).
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (C++, Java, or Python) for creating custom Teamcenter utilities.
  • Direct experience with Siemens Opcenter (MES) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 data structures, APIs, or Data integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the digital thread across PLM, MES, and ERP environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas.
