Job description

Fish Filleter is responsible for cleaning, cutting, and filleting fish with precision and efficiency, ensuring product quality and compliance with hygiene standards.

Fish Preparation

  • Clean, gut, cut and fillet various types of fish according to company specifications.
  • Ensure minimal waste and maintain yield standards.

Quality Control

  • Inspect fish for quality, freshness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Remove bones and skin accurately.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tools, cutting boards, and work area.

Team collaboration

  • Work closely with other processing team members to meet production targets.
  • Communicate any product quality issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of seafood or food production
  • Food Safety & hygiene awareness
  • Prior experience in fish processing or seafood handling
