Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Direct workers engaged in production activities to ensure the continuous production of conforming product in the most efficient and safe manner possible.
  • Training of employees, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems in the absence of the department supervisor.
  • May assist with performance of production tasks as needed.
  • Operation of lifting devices as needed.
  • Looks for opportunity to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes and overall improvement efforts.
  • Follows all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
  • Read, understand and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management.
  • Shut down process if unsafe.
  • Follow proper machine shutdown procedures.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
  • 3G weld certification or ability to pass weld test
  • Set-up and operate machines and welding equipment
  • Blue print and weld detail knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attendance
